Under dark clouds Rassie calmly lights the braai with a long match while Tannie Marietjie watches.

Rain pours over every house, but the clouds split in a circle above Rassie’s sunny garden. The neighbour, Oom Kallie, stands in the rain with an umbrella, stunned.
