  1. Six panels. The players tell Rassie that Plan A is not working and Plan B is worse. He draws three corrections on the board, they ask whether that is really all of it, and on the field it works.Enlarge panel 1

  1. Panel 1

Players crowd a whiteboard covered in arrows and markers. One holds his head; another gestures at the board.

    Player: Plan A isn’t working!

    Player: Plan B is worse!

  2. Panel 2

Rassie stands with his hand on his chin while the squad waits behind him.

    Player: Coach… what’s the plan?

  3. Panel 3

Rassie draws on the board: three clean green arrows replacing the tangle.

Rassie: Keep the shape. Fix the spacing. Support earlier.

  4. Panel 4

A player stares at the simplified board; Rassie looks back at him, unbothered.

    Player: That’s it?

    Rassie: That’s it.

  5. Panel 5

Out on the field, a forward breaks through with the ball and support runners either side of him.

    Player: It’s working!

  6. Panel 6

The squad crowds around Rassie, laughing. He stands in the middle, quietly pleased.

Caption: When the game gets messy, Rassie brings it back to the plan.
