- Attack Coach: We receive. Ball in hand.
- Defence Coach: We kick. Make them play in their own half.
- Scrum Coach: Whatever gets us a scrum in the first five minutes.
Panel 2. - Referee: Heads. Your call, captain.
Panel 3. - Siya: We’ll take the wind.
- Referee: The wind?
- Siya: The wind has never argued with me.

Panel 1
In a team room the three assistant coaches argue: the Attack Coach holds up his tablet, the Defence Coach jabs a finger and the Scrum Coach folds his enormous arms.
Caption: Two hours before kick-off.
Attack Coach: We receive. Ball in hand.
Defence Coach: We kick. Make them play in their own half.
Scrum Coach: Whatever gets us a scrum in the first five minutes.

At the coin toss Siya and the opposing captain face each other under the floodlights, while behind them, in the glass coaches’ box, the three coaches point in different directions.
Referee: Heads. Your call, captain.

Siya glances up at the arguing coaches, then smiles calmly at the referee.
Siya: We’ll take the wind.
Referee: The wind?
Siya: The wind has never argued with me.
