  1. Panel 1

Two senators in togas stand in front of a half-built Colosseum wrapped in scaffolding.

Caption: 1. Rome – a city with big ambitions.

Senator: This city is taking forever!

Senator: Maybe we need another plan?

  2. Panel 2

The senators lean over a table of unrolled scrolls and drawings. One throws his hands up; the other rests his head on his hand.

Caption: 2. More plans. More meetings.

Senator: Too many plans, too many delays!

Senator: Nobody can get this build moving.

  3. Panel 3

Rassie arrives in a white shirt, holding an open scroll. A senator looks him up and down.

Caption: 3. They bring in Rassie.

    Senator: Who’s this?

    Senator: A specialist.

  4. Panel 4

Rassie points across the site while labourers carry blocks past him.

Caption: 4. Rassie has a different approach.

Rassie: Less meetings. More building. Get the blocks here. Move together.

  5. Panel 5

The site is suddenly busy. A labourer gives a thumbs up; Rassie stands with his hands on his hips, watching.

Caption: 5. Things start to happen.

    Labourer: It’s actually working!

  6. Panel 6

The finished Colosseum behind them. A senator gestures at it, baffled; Rassie smiles.

    Caption: 6. The result.

Senator: So why wasn’t Rome built in a day?

Caption: They say that Rome wasn’t built in one day… Rassie didn’t tender.
